What Is Shagged Married Annoyed About?
It documents the lives of comedians Chris Ramsey and Rosie. Each week, they discuss their lives, and it is eventful, funny, and enjoyable, as they are both witty people.
Chris Ramsey is a stand-up comedian from South Shields, who appeared in Strictly Come Dancing a few years ago. Rosie would always make a ‘guest’ appearance on the show via television, I guess, to show that Chris was not going to fall for the ‘curse of Strictly’.
At the time, I thought, ‘What a lovely couple’ and that Chris would make a great presenter of ‘The One Show’. He is when he behaves, but on this show, they don’t. They talk about being parents of 2 young children, along with the more graphic issues of adulthood.
What else does Chris Ramsey Do?
Also, he is a stand-up comedian, and most comedians don’t get very far without being a bit graphic when the need arises. That is, unless you want to go on Britain’s Got Talent. People do not want so much filth, but things of an adult nature.
Before I continue, they are not pornographic; it does get a bit frank, though not in an erotic way, in the ‘questions from the public’ part. Anonymous members of the public send in their most sordid stories, and Rosie reads them out. When most of the story is read, Chris has to guess what happened to the sender of the mail. The punchline genuinely never disappoints, and it is genuinely funny. Chris is uptight and judgmental, which adds to the amusement factor.
Bits come and go. There was Rosie’s Jotter, where they read bits from Rosie’s school jotter, but one that has stayed forever is ‘What’s your beef?’. This is where they save a grudge from the week and tell the other about it on the show. They argue a bit in a conciliatory way.
Rosie Is On Tour
Rosie is funny as well. She is just as frank in a Northern Way about all things. The podcast was so popular that they took it on tour, and it sold out stadiums. Also, it is not just Chris whois doing solo stand-up; Rosie is now doing her own gigs.
She has also been on Taskmaster, which is apparently a badge of honour for a comedian. Yeah, I am 53. Also, she appeared on a Christmas Come Dancing and won. Better than Chris. But fair play to Chris, he has also done Taskmaster.
They talk about absolutely anything and everything about living life, and whenever I feel the need, I follow the Ramseys, and I recommend that you do too.
