Peaky Blinders Immortal Man is a film that truly immerses you to the extent that you feel part of the adventure. Tommy Shelby and Duke Shelby‘s ruthlessness is almost magnetic.

Is Peaky Blinder The Immortal Man A Good Gangster Film?

Most good Gangster Films manage to create the buzz, but Peaky Blinders does this to an exceptional level.

What Is The Setting For Peaky Blinders The Immortal Man?

The background is set during the exile of the former leader of the Peaky Blinders gang in Ireland, away from the gang’s violent street activities and the war. He is a broken man, destroyed by World War 1 in the Somme and his gangster activities in Birmingham, and he is in Ireland seeking answers.

He wants peace and does not want to return to Birmingham, where he was previously the gang’s chief, the Peaky Blinders. The gang is now being run by his oldest son, Duke.

Does Tommy Shelby Go Back To Birmingham In Peaky Blinders The Immortal Man?

Tommy will have no part in the gang. There are too many ghosts left in Birmingham. He has some contentment but is still troubled in his exile in Ireland. That is how the film begins. I will not reveal any more about the film.

But he does of course. It would be a shit film if he didn’t 😉

What do I think of Tommy Shelby and Duke’s adventure in the Peaky Blinders saga in the final chapter of Peaky Blinders?

I am not a Peaky Blinders expert. This film has tempted me to watch more of it as it is total ‘Joel/admin’ Mana’. I have always loved gangster films and series, and this one does not disappoint.

Is Peaky Blinders The Immortal Man A Good Film?

It is as good as any other Peaky Blinders I have seen. It has motivated me to watch the rest of the seasons and maybe even watch all 6 seasons. I previously watched 2 episodes of series 2.

Mainly, there is a caper involving a warehouse of forged Nazi UK banknotes, in a warehouse that will weaken the UK currency and thus reduce the value of the Great British Pound. Tommy and all the local gangsters are united in saving the UK from total financial ruin. Don’t worry, this is not a spoiler. It is said in the first 10 minutes of the film.

What Guides Tommy Shelby?

Secondly, there is gypsy lore. This is wonderful, as it guides Tommy’s thinking, thus creating a mysterious element in his decision-making.

Who Is Duke Shelby?

Finally, there is Duke Shelby. He is not governed by morals but rather by chance. He has also inherited his father’s ruthless nature. He fears no one and has the street smarts to deal with anyone.

The film is as good as any other Peaky Blinders film series that I have seen and that is extreme praise from me.

Finally my rating

Five out of Five
